Having your holiday in Bali and feels like want to witness the beauty of Bali Nature? Drive your car away to Kintamani. Kintamani is a village in northern Bali. The village, together with several others, sits on the rim of the huge Mount Batur caldera about 1,500m above sea level. From here, you can feast your eyes with the dramatic views of Mount Batur volcano and Lake Batur. Seven miles in diameter and sixty feet deep, Batur caldera is simply astounding.
Kitamani is one of the must-see tourism spot in Bali. The spectacular mountainous region around Kintamani with its deep Crater Lake and bubbling hot springs are something you cannot find anywhere else around Bali but here. For your info, Batur Lake is the largest lake in Bali and the region offers some of the most spectacular views to be found anywhere on the island. Batur Lake also provides water for an underground network of streams and springs across the southern slopes of the mountain.
Evening in Kintamani is cool. But when you are already here, spend at least a night and climb the volcano. It is a perfect spot just to sit and watch the sunrise. A perfect morning you will never forget. You don’t have to worry about where to spend the night here, for Kintamani offers you various accommodation services. Many cheap cottages are available here.
After watching the sunrise, you can then soak yourself in the hot spring of Toya Devasya in the village of Toya Bungkah. It’s not so cheap but worth it. The hot water is very relaxing and will surely give you a pleasure.
Kintamani is also famous for its local race of a dog, Anjing Kintamani. This race of dog can be easily noticed from the body. These dogs can be classified in the hound group of workers (working dogs) with a medium size, has a sense of balance and good body proportion with strong bones covered by strong muscles. Anjing Kintamani as a mountain dog has long hair (moderate) with a specific white, black or brown.
